Press Setter – Double Day Shift

An established manufacturing engineering company in the West Midlands, Black Country area is looking for an experienced Press Setter to join the company in a permanent position.

The company offers a good basic pay, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, as well as 33 days’ holiday (inclusive of Bank Hols) from the outset.

• Mornings – 06.00am – 15.30pm Monday to Friday – (includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12 minute paid break) = 45 hours per week
• Lates – 13.30 – 23.15pm Monday to Thursday (includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12 minute paid break) 37 hours and 13.30pm – 22.00pm Friday –(includes 30 mins unpaid lunch break and a 12 minute paid break) 8 hours = 45 hours per week

• To set up the Press in accordance with production requirements
• To be capable of doing your own 1st OFFS and last OFFS.
• To meet production targets and customer requirements.
• To work to the quality standards required.
• To work to health and safety standards.
• Continuous improvement.

Experience required:
• Experienced in multi stage coil feed & single stage secondary operation presses
• Experience in working in a Press Shop.

• ROSPA certificate required
• Good attention to detail
